github-cli software package provides command-line interface to the GitHub Issues API, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install github-cli
github-cli is installed in your system.
Make ensure the github-cli package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep github-cli *
You will get with github-cli package name, version, architecture and description in a table
